Bon Jovi’s first ever concerts in China were cancelled by government officials in China. No official reason was given but media reports suggest that China’s Communist party’s Culture Ministry acted after discovering Bon Jovi had performed in front of a picture of the Tibetan Monk at a 2010 concert in Taiwan.

Bon Jovi were forced to cancel their concerts in Taipei due to Typhoon Dujuan. The Taipei City Central Weather Bureau made an announcement to cease all school and work on September 28th and 29th. In accordance to this decision, the band expressed their deep regret at having to cancel both “Bon Jovi Live in Taipei 2015” shows.
