Jon Bon Jovi served as honorary Shrine Game coach for the East team of the East-West Shrine Game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida on January 20, 2016. The Shrine Game is a college all-star game where the teams are divided up by east-west regions.

“He really took his duties as a coach seriously. He insisted on keeping his profile low here, he really wanted to concentrate on learning as much as he could about football and soak it all in.” – Tom Reeves (director of game operations for the event)

The game was held as a benefit for the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
